In light of recent events in Eastern Europe, Gener

In light of recent events in Eastern Europe, Generating Joy understands that the topic can be sensitive and followed by feelings of stress, anxiety, and/or panic. As a program that is supposed to be an escape from reality to just enjoy ourselves for a hour, we have decided to try to refrain from discussing the events occurring in Russia and Ukraine in all Generating Joy meetings. This is in respect to those who are of Russian or Ukranian descent or those who find this situation mentally challenging. Although, this does come with the exception of if a senior wants to discuss their experiences with the situation, we want to let them open up because sometimes opening up helps the most. If this does occur, we trust our companies judgement on the topic and hope that you act accordingly and respectfully to the senior.

Thank you everyone for keeping Generating Joy a safe and open environment for all individuals, senior or volunteer.
